FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Uses & selection
Typical applications
- Hand-laid fibreglass repairs and moulded components
- Pool relining and repairs within a specified laminate system
- Building up glass layers over broad surfaces and shaped details
Before choosing your pack
- Choose the specified mat grade and number of layers. For the same area, 450 g/m² mat contains 50% more dry glass per layer than 300 g/m² mat; the laminate schedule still determines how many layers are needed.
- For cut lengths, 1 linear metre at 1.3 m wide provides 1.3 m² before overlaps and cutting waste.
- For a full roll, confirm the available 45 kg, 47 kg or 50 kg weight and mat grade on the quotation.
- Check the mat manufacturer’s resin-compatibility statement, particularly for epoxy, because the binder and sizing matter.
